As a creator focusing on the high end of the content marketing stack, I will be thrilled if senior corporate tech marketers take a few minutes to read your thoughtful post. Your message is spot on and worth shouting from the rooftops. The SEO garbage and AI slop that insults their target buyers must stop.
Kind of agree we should not start off such an incredible piece with politics - BUT your article is insightful and on point. Marketing is changing so rapidly. I’m thrilled we have a storyteller like you to keep us up to speed. Politics or no politics.
Thanks Stacey! I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm so glad you got a lot out of this post. And for the record, I didn't intend that line to be political — it was more a commentary on Elon as a person. I watched that video 10 times and I think he absolutely knew what he was doing. He is an expert at sparking outrage and winning the war for Attention, which was absolutely his intention in breaking out that gesture. And it worked! He was the main news story for three days. And particularly as a Jew, I feel like I can call him out for it. (Plus, it was a fun line to write.)

Enjoyable post- yes, "story listeners" are much better salespeople!
Ugh, I'm on hubspot. Wondering if I should change strategy?
You're going to promulgate the Nazi salute hoax? What utter nonsense. It discredits whatever else you might have to say.
