AI making 1,000 versions of distilled messaging from another 1,000 or 10,000 previously run ads, optimizing on how many clicks they got doesn't sound like a recipe for breakthrough thinking to me. Even if in a B2B setting, where the ML was trained on pipeline velocity, that's a NOW thing, not a longitudinal build of a brand that has resonance, which does matter, a lot, even in B2B. And I doubt any AI would come up with, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing," or any other iconic campaign you might have as a favorite. One of my recent faves is Safelight Auto Glass, where they use their mobile repair vans as moving billboards. One creative I keep coming back to has the headline on the back, "Nice Windshield. Call us if anything changes." Never gonna get that from the great blender in the sky...

And thank you for surfacing this important issue. Creativity, design and strategic thinking all matter. Hopefully the pendulum swings back to this side of the issue soon.

"Teenage TikTok influencers are coming to LinkedIn" sounds like a horror movie setup. Thanks for the insights!
